SAVA SPRINT INTERNATIONAL III

The draw for the ultimate WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is done & we are in the finals!!! We have made it to the Finals!!! In case u r wondering wat I am writing about, it is actually the SAVA SPRINT INTERNATIONAL III (something like the World Cup for Dragon Boat). Our newly formed team qualifies for the Final of the 500m race. If u r wondering again how the hell we made it into the Finals, let lim pei enlighten u. Hehe. I deduce that there could onli be 2 reasons for it after many rounds of scientific analyzing, means testing, public polls, research and focus groups discussions. The 1st is many world established teams (Like Brazil, England, and Italy) withdraw after learning we are taking part. No point racing for 2nd place mah. The 2nd is the organizer finally woke up their idea & discover it is a pure waste of time for us to participate in the Heats cuz we will surely make it to the final 1 mah. Hahaha. Jokes aside, I am really glad that I am able to row in a real race with friends. It would be so fun!!! One of the ‘STRONGEST’ rower in the team, CT (FYI; he benched around 200kg and can run a full marathon in less than 45 mins) has already prepared his winning speech, booked the open top bus for the team to tour the city with the trophy and of cuz booked the Indian restaurant at Esplanade for the gala dinner leow. Can't wait for the weekend to cum!
